CIMB NIAGA INDONESIA; SIGNS A NEW COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
CIMB Niaga Employees’ Union – Indonesia (Ikatan Komunitas Niaga) [IKN] was formed in 2008. Union was scattered across the Indonesian islands; finally all branches unified and formed a national federation in 2012. Unified voice brought real spring to Japan’s labour insurance workers!
Toward the unified goal for the inclusive improvement of workers’ livelihood, 10 unions affiliated to ROSAIROREN (Federation of ZENROSAI Trade Unions) undertook their annual spring offensive for the year 2015. They submitted their demands to respective employers during 2-6 March followed by negotiations to have reached an agreement on 3rd April.
Important achievements include:
Breaking through for non-regular workers in Labour Banks in Japan
Focusing on improving the wage and labour conditions for non-regular workers, the Federation of Labour Bank Workers’ Unions of Japan (Zenrokin) campaigned to eliminate job insecurity, increase wage, and implement an annual/retirement allowance system at the spring labour offensive.
Finally, affiliates of Zenrokin gained the following good results:
