UNI Global Union is backing the Global Week of Action for Climate Justice June 1-7 and calling on affliates to participate in events in their countries and though social media via  #Unions4Climate action

UNI supports the position of the ITUC: "Climate action is a trade union issue. We must mobilise to hold our leaders to account for the commitments that will ensure a strong global agreement on climate change in Paris this year and beyond. From our workplaces, to our governments, in our homes and on the streets, unions will mobilise so that we have a right to a seat at the table as we act to stabilise the world’s climate by moving to a zero carbon emission future."
