In the world, seventy-five countries have laws that criminalize same-sex relations. Only four out of ten countries worldwide do equal numbers of girls and boys attend secondary school. Disabled people are four times more likely to report being treated badly and nearly three times more likely to be denied health care than non-disabled people.
Everybody has the right to an equal treatment, no matter their gender, nationality, age, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or religion.
A landmark roundtable on the future of the Care sector took place last Wednesday at the European Parliament. UNI Global Union General Secretary Philip Jennings told leading Swiss business magazine Bilan that digitalization will cannibalise jobs.
Jennings speaking to Bilan at the recent World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos said, “The World Economic Forum said that 7 million jobs will disappear and more will be created, but when you look at what other research has said, this seems rather modest.”
