Early November of this year, after more than six years of non-stop and arduous work, we materialized the formation of two unions of the company Kimberly Clark in Colombia, adding to the existing one in the plant of Tocacinpá.

Both the Kimberly Clark Antioquia Global Workers' Union, SINTRA-KCAG, and the Kimberly Clark Barbosa Workers' Union, SINTRA-KCB,  were created under the social dialogue agreement between UNI Global Union and the US company in the packaging sector, along with the support of SINTRAPULCAR.

Thus, with this achievement, the workers of these plants can organize freely and have their rights respected, since the social dialogue agreement guarantees respect for trade union rights, wherever the company operates, in particular the right to organising and to collective bargaining.

The company has already recognized both unions and UNI has called for more workers to join and strengthen their respective organizations to guarantee their trade union and labor rights.
