![]() The Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA) has 2500 permanent employees and 300 part-time staff (in the Call Centre). In October 2006, a delegation of Free Pancyprian Organization of Telecommunications Employees' representatives (EPOET) together with representatives of the management visited the Call Centres and shared the UNI Anti Stress Kit - BOSS as well as other relative printed material. In the letter to the Director of Human Resources, EPOET asked for negotiations that would lead to the framework agreement on stress at work which was approved by the European social partners. Recently the Director of Human Resources of CYTA informed this suggestion was considered and CYTA was ready to sign such agreement with the trade union. It was signed by the two parties on 19 October 2007. The proposed plan of action (see below) was developed covering activities the company would implement fighting stresses in CYTA. |
