Today, the Directores Argentinos Cinematográficos (DAC) celebrate the foundation of the directors' guild 50 years ago. DAC is a very active affiliate and was a key driver in setting-up FEDALA, the Latin American Federation of Directors and Writers. In a message to DAC members, UNI-MEI Director Jim Wilson thanked DAC for its work and contribution within UNI-MEI and underlined the leading role DAC has played and continues to play in giving a stringer voice to directors and other creators in the media and entertainment in Latin America and world-wide.
