Wage Agreement negotiations 2009
German printing industry
3. Negotiations round wage agreement printing industry in Frankfurt/Main 19th May
Employers don’t show any creative attempt for a reasonable offer
Employers present no acceptable offer in the third negotiations round. In their opinion there should be no wage increase in 2009.
They didn’t really leave her last offer on 30th April which includes a single payment of 200€ in 2009 and a 1.4 per cent pay rise in 2010.
Half of the single payment (100€) can be reduced by voluntary firm agreement. The start of the 1.4 per cent pay rise in January can be delayed till the end of 2010.
The employers demand longer working hours and intend worsening job vacancy rules.
Ver.di will not discuss any changes about the national framework agreement while this contract is not yet terminated.
The following negotiations will be held in Frankfurt/Main on 2nd June
Now all colleagues are asked to demonstrate their opinion about the last offer of the employers!
