Nagasaki hosts 3rd UNI World Congress

THE 3rd UNI World Congress takes off in the historic peace city of Nagasaki, Japan from 9 - 12 November under the theme “UNI Global Union Breaking Through.”
Delegates to the Congress will discuss five key themes: · UNI Global Union Breaking Through: Strategy for Action from Nagasaki to Cape Town · Breaking Through for a Global Economy for People · Breaking Through for Jobs with Social Security and Justice for All · Breaking Through to GROW (Get Recognition + Organise Workers) · Breaking Through for Peace Invitations have been sent out and affiliates are being encouraged to register for the congress online at the following website address: http://place.uniglobalunion.org/worldcongress2010 The Congress website is password protected and affiliates can request for the user name and password from any of UNI Africa offices: Abidjan: uni-africa@uniglobalunion.org |
