UNI affiliate the Union of Communications Workers of Colombia, USTC, has managed to reach a final agreement in the collective bargaining process

with the Telebucaramanga Company, a subsidiary of Telefonica. The most remarkable aspect of the agreement is the inclusion of the Global Framework

Agreement signed between UNI and Telefonica.



USTC leaders recalled that they came from an earlier bargaining process which had been settled by an arbitration tribunal, and are pleased that today the

organisation has regained bargaining power, even reaching the agreement on the last day of the direct settlement stage.



A highlight of the attitude of the union's negotiating committee advised by Eberto Lopez, as well as the attitudes of the negotiating committee of the company

always had an attitude of respect at the negotiating table, despite the difficulties encountered during the development of this process. Hopefully this is a

great step to strengthen relations between Telefonica and USTC.
