UNI Global Union will bring together more than 50 leading figures from the engineering industry and trade unions in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe. Together with the Norwegian Deputy Minister for Trade and Commerce and senior managers from multinational companies like Microsoft and Telenor, participants will examine the global challenges facing engineers worldwide and shortcomings of current regulations aimed at addressing urgent health and safety needs of such pool of technical experts in the world.





Pav Akhtar, Head of UNI Professionals and Managers said “The major focus of the conference will be on how to build better cooperation between governments, industry and trade unions in order to meet the needs of an increasingly globalised engineering profession.”



Sessions will focus on “setting the scene to seek engineers safety at home and abroad;” “Common challenges in engineering;” “Building power to win for engineers;” and “Engineer unions’ network and exchange.”
