Massive turnout for general strike in Spain
UNI supports millions of Spanish workers taking part in a general strike over changes to the labour laws that are the biggest attack on workers' rights that Spanish democracy has ever experienced.
29 March: Swedish commerce union Handels issues strike notice
The strike notice involves 898 workers in the retail sector and 4,718 workers in the wholesale sector. A total of 5,616 workers at 65 workplaces are concerned.
