On 24 October, Judge David Sérvio Coqueiro dos Santos, of the Labour Court of Campina Grande (PB), ordered Prosegur, Nordeste Segurança and Transbank to immediately comply with Law 12.740/2012, regardless of the Ministry of Labour and Employment’s (MTE) regulation, retroactive to the effective date of the law. He also ruled that they will  pay $ 100,000 for collective moral damage.

The judge concurred with the opinion of the Public Ministry of Labour (MPT) that "social dumping" was taking place. "Social dumping" is when companies seeking to increase their profits relocate to places where they can pay lower wages and shirk their responsibilities to implement satisfactory worker rights.

This action was an initiative of the Security Guards’ Union of Campina Grande and the Region, and only benefits certain workers in the union. The National Confederation of Security Guards (CNTV) congratulates its brothers and sisters for this achievement in defending the interests of its members.
