Ranjeet Kumar

Ranjeet is 40 years old, married with two sons. His whole family has been living in Delhi since 2001. They live in a one room set in Kanpur with Ranjeet’s elderly parents. He supports his entire family on his salary from G4S, and the BSF pension he receives each month.



.He works 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week. We do not get a break during our shift. By mutual convenience with our co-workers we are able to take food and tea. G4S should give us a good salary for 8 hours work, with days off so that we can enjoy time with our families. G4S are not even providing us with a new uniform each year.”



Ranjeet says that Provident Fund slips are not given to all workers, and management threatens workers with losing their jobs if they raise their voices or become active in the union.
