On March 24 and 25, 2015 the international rounds of the CCOO project on Equal Pay called: "Detection, prevention and sanction of the pay gap between women and men", which will take place in Toledo, Spain.

The project, which is supported by Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein, looks into understanding the existing legal framework on the gender wage gap, as well as the work unions across Europe and the world are carrying out in order to help close the gap through the sharing of good practices and experiences. Furthermore, it looks into raising awareness on the different forms of discrimination that lead to the existing gender wage gap.

On both days of the international rounds, the Head of the UNI Equal Opportunities, Veronica Fernandez Mendez, will be presenting on how global unions work towards closing the gender wage gap, including Global Agreements, campaigns, activities and support to affiliated unions.
