On the 25th of February 2014, the Japanese women's network met in Tokio with the attendance of the head of UNI Asia Pacific (Apro) Women, Sister Yoko Ogawa and the Head of the Equal Opportunities Department, Veronica Fernandez Mendez.

The network discussed amongst other things the motions that will be presented at the upcoming World Women's Conference in Cape Town, which will take place in December 2014, and the topics discussed at the last meeting of the UNI Apro Women's Committee.

It was a very fruitful meeting, in which once again, sisterhood proves to be a key tool in the progress of the region and the empowerment of women.
