Deutsche Telekom-Germany’s wholly–owned subsidiary T-Mobile USA employs more than 16,000 call centre workers in the USA. More than 10,000 are hard- working women. Many are single parents raising kids on low incomes that often qualify them for state support. They face tremendous stress on the job, can be fired at any time and after years of work only see minimum pay increases.
