The Director General of the Human Resources Division of Banco Santander received the President of UNI Finance in the Financial City of Santander, located a few kilometres from Madrid. Alicturri explained the operations of Banco Santander as a global company which operates with subsidiaries, given the necessary autonomy to find solutions to their problems locally, without interference from the headquarters in Spain. On the other hand, Edgardo explained that UNI operates in a similar manner, in that, it encourages its unions to find local solutions through dialogue and collective bargaining and functions as an element that prepares and supports those unions politically and technically in order to achieve concrete results with as little conflict as possible.



During the conversations, they took stock of the relationship between UNI and Santander to date and noted the items that should be improved, considering the possibility of building a positive dialogue for the future, which adds value to both sides and the outcome of the dialogue would be solutions, not new problems.



In the end, the two sides, Santander and UNI Finance, agreed to keep talking, provided the conversation is structured in the objectives above, that is to say, to construct an objective dialogue, of trust and primarily under the principle that this dialogue does not interfere with the way each organization organizes its policy, allowing it to achieve its expected results.
