Home care workers around the US have made 2016 resolutions to continue to provide the best care they can for their communities, and to bring strength to their fight for $15 an hour, a union, and quality jobs.

Their fight, alongside fast food workers, has become iconic, with the New York Times, amongst others, identifying the Fight for 15 as one of the biggest social justice stories of 2015. 

Last year saw some of the largest collective demonstrations ever by home care workers, fast food workers, and more, with 60,000 joining together in action, and extending protests for fair wages worldwide.

2016 begins with a lot of promise, and with home care workers taking steps everywhere to win fair jobs and fair pay, and seeing progress and early results in many states.
