In a recent declaration dated 5 June 2017, the UniCredit European Works Council and the UNI Finance Trade Union Alliance in UniCredit, stated their solidarity with all workers of the Slovakian banking sector, who have been denied the right of negotiation and to obtain Collective Bargaining.

This declaration followed the  Slovakian Bank Association's (SBA) decision to arbitrarily remove Collective Agreements from their Statutes, thus denying the main instrument for Social Dialogue in the sector.
