Jun Umali, UNI-PLC handed to Bro. Eiichi Ito, UNI Apro Director of Post & Logistic its token donations to UNI-LCJ in whatever little way it can help in providing needed relief to its union members who may have been affected by the tragedy which has befallen Japan.



UNI PLC took advantage of Bro. Ito's visit to Manila to oversee the conduct of the Postal Workers Seminar under the sponsorship of JPGU of Tokyo. A modest amount of US$6,000.00 raised from UNI-PLC was given to UNI-LCJ. Funds will continue to be solicited from UNI affiliates in the Philippines. Many affliates has directly remitted their contribution to UNI Headquarters separately from what it contributed to UNI-PLC.



"I am very proud of you and the PLC. This is the spirit. The amount may be modest but speak volume of the caring heart of the givers." was the responce of Christopher Ng, UNI Apro Regional Secretary.
