UNI MEI is participating as partner organisation in the World Copyright Summit organised by CISAC and that is taking place in Brussels on 7 and 8 June 2011. The event is a truly international and cross-industry event addressing the future of the creative community and the entertainment business in the digital economy. The two days forum with the theme "offers the opportunity for stakeholders to exchange views on the value of creative works, the future of authors’ rights, the role of creators and their collective management organisations. UNI MEI's Johannes Studinger will speak on a panel addressing key EU regulations and legislation that are currently discussed and adopted, all of which could have a long lasting effect on creative industries and collective management, as well as on the livelihoods of thousands of creators and workers in the sector.
