On 23 November 2011, on the occasion of the plenary meeting of the Private Security Social Dialogue Committee, UNI Europa and CoESS adopted a working programme for 2012 and 2013.



The working programme sets objective and priorities for joint initiatives and actions for the next two years.

Social Partners in the private security sector will award priority attention and will take appropriate actions in the field of heath and safety, a permanent concern for the industry both at European and national level. They further committed to promote the best value principle in public procurement by participating actively in the debate on the revision of the public procurement directives. Special attention will be given as well to training programmes for security staff and the professionalization of the private security sectors as well as the monitoring of the implementation of the CIT regulation on cross-border transportation of Euro cash and the issue of pollution in the airports. Finally, UNI Europa and CoESS will promote Social Dialogue in Eastern European countries and will seek to ensure active participation from Eastern European respective members’ organisations.
