UNI Mena office in Tunis hosts UNI Day Tunisia

A recent workshop organized by UNI Mena gathered together all UNI affiliates from UGTT Tunisia.

"This was the first time that we meet together all UNI affiliates," said Nooman Gharbi,  Secretary General of the UGTT Federation of Banks and President of UNI Bank Africa.

"It is my first meeting with UNI and I learned a lot," said Lotfi Ltifi the new Secretary General of the UGTT Social Security Federation and member of UNICare.

The workshop was opened by Hatem Laouini, the new coordinator of UNI Mena, who moderated the first session giving an overview of UNI Global : its structures , strategies and priorities. This informative presentation triggered an interesting debate.

Nooman Gharbi, a veteran of UNI, facilitated a session on regional and sectorial statutory issues which the affiliates found illuminating.

Then the floor was given to Ali Ourak, new Secretary General of the ICTS Federation and Amira Trabelsi, Secretary General of Carrefour basic union and member of UGTT Commerce federation who talked about their respective experiences in Teleperformance and Carrefour alliances.

The participants who were secretary generals and members of Federations as well as members of very important basic union shared best practices, and gave their proposals on future programmes.
