Over 270 union leaders and activists  will take part in the UNI Commerce Global Conference in Berlin June 13-15. It will be the largest gathering of commerce union leaders since UNI Commerce’s global conference in Buenos Aires in 2013.

The Head of UNI Commerce Global, Mathias Bolton said, “We’re privileged to have such a group of experienced and committed union leaders and activists from our sector. We are facing critical challenges in commerce around the future world of work and we all recognise the urgent need for action: UNI Commerce Forward!”

The conference will revolve around the 4 pillars of the proposed 2017-2021 UNI Commerce Action Plan:

Building Union Power in the Global Commerce Sector
Including You!
E-Commerce, Digitalisation, & the Future World of Work
Building Union Power in the Retail Supply Chain

Through panels, guest speakers, and interventions from the floor particpants will share their achievements as well as discuss and debate the objectives and principles of the proposed action plan.

On the last day of the conference participants will elect a Global Committee, 4 vice presidents and president for the next 4 year term.
