The representatives of UNI affiliates in Kyrgyzstan together with the UNI Moscow office coordinator – Grigory Ovsyannikov delivered a solidarity letter to Tatiana C. Gfoeller, the Ambassador of the USA to the Kyrgyz Republic, in support of Employee Free Choice Act.



“We welcome the introduction of this legislation into the US House of Representatives and Senate, and hope that it would become a law soon. Taking into account the indispensable position of the USA in the world economy, a law that will protect workers’ right to unionise in the United States will be vital to winning union recognition and bargaining rights world-wide. American companies have been exporting their labor practices to every country they do business in and foreign companies have eagerly embraced those practices once inside the US.”, said the letter.
