UNI MO coordinator Grigory Ovsyannikov has met with Tofig Musaev, the chair of the UNI affiliate in Azerbaijan, Rabita IS (Communication Workers Trade Union) and with the leaders of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, on the 26 of November, to discuss the plans of organizing activity.



The meeting was devoted to the organizing activities of Rabita-IS in the mobile phone companies, such as Azercell Telecom and Bakcell. The leaders of Rabita-IS consider organizing of the employees of these companies to be their priority, and their commitment to organize is fully supported by the Confederation of the Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, and UNI. The strategy of organizing, and required resources were thoroughly discussed during the meeting.



After the meeting with the trade union leaders, Grigory Ovsyannikov hold a workshop on the methods of organizing for the staff and activists of Rabita-IS, to empower them to hold organizing activity in Azercell Telecom.
