Taking the occasion of the 3rd UNI Apro Regional Conference, 5th July 2011, two temporary work agencies concluded global agreements with UNI to commit themselves to recognizing workers' rights and decent working conditions. The agreements underline the roles and obligations of the agencies and highlights the responsbilities of agencies to providing adequate protection and decent working conditions for workers who are employed by the agencies. Aspek Indonesia and UNI Philippine Liaison Council (UNI PLC) will continue to establish constructive industrial relations with their TWA counterparts of Indonesian Outsourcing Association - Associasi Bisnis Alih Daya Indonesia (IOA-ABADI) and Philippine Association of Local Service Contractors (PALSCON) in protecting against precarious work for temporary workers in the services sectors.
