The 4th UNI Apro Regional Conference in Kuala Lumper wrapped up with the election of new UNI Apro President, Minao Noda.

Noda thanked the participants for putting their faith in him in his new role as UNI Apro President and also paid tribute to the outgoing President, Naoto Ohmi.

“I would like to congratulate Brother Ohmi for doing a fantastic job as UNI Apro President for more than two years. I look forward to building on our achievements and going further. As the proverb has it, it is better for a hundred men to take a single step than one man to take a hundred. We go on together and “scale new heights” – the theme of this the 4th UNI Apro Regional Conference. We will heighten our aspirations in keeping with the ethos of our Nepalese colleagues who were originally to host this conference and the Malaysian Liaison Council led by Brother Shafie who so ably organized the meeting here in Kuala Lumpur. Thank you, all. I am fully committed to taking UNI as an organisation and its activities further.”

Chris Ng was re-elected as UNI Apro Regional Secretary and pledged to keep driving UNI Apro forward.
