The 2nd UNI Global conference of the Donnelley Trade Union Working Group met in Chicago on May 15 2008 and brought together dozens of R.R. Donnelley employees, leaders of unions from 10 countries in Asia, the Americas and Europe, as well as representatives of UNI Graphical Global Union and the Graphic Communications Conference of the Teamsters Union (GCC).



The Conference participants expressed international solidarity with RR Donnelley workers in Pontiac, Illinois engaged in organising efforts.



UNI Donnelley Global Working Group requested that RR Donnelley immediately stop all union-busting tactics and that they respect the rights of workers to have the freedom of association and collective bargaining, and that they remain neutral to any organising and union recognition activities.



UNI Donnelley Global Working Group commited itself to insure respect of workers and trade union rights wherever the company operates in the world.
