The UNI Americas Gaming meeting, which took place in Las Vegas earlier in October, welcomed over 30 participants from seven countries in the region. They heard emotional personal stories of Station Casino workers struggle for union rights and recognition. The company has illegally used threats, intimidation, interrogation, surveillance, bribery, discouragement, discrimination, discipline and physical assault against employees engaged in lawfully protected union activities.



A unanimous resolution to support the legitimate demands of SC workers was adopted. UNI Gaming Global Union affiliates and UNI Americas Gaming meeting participants demand that:



- Station Casinos and other Fertitta-Deutsche companies respect human rights and worker rights anywhere they do business in the world;



- Station Casinos treat its workers fairly and respect their rights to engage in organizing activities and stop immediately any and all attacks on workers who engage in organizing activities;



And call on UNI Global Union affiliates around the world to initiate a global solidarity campaign to support worker rights and human rights at Station Casinos.
