UNI-Africa Regional Secretary Zakari Koudougou and Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) General Secretary Rodah A. Masaviru signed the agreement, which focuses on promoting a quality postal sector in Africa and sustainable development.



UNI Africa President Bones Skulu, Keith Jacobs, director of organising for UNI Africa and Peles Jonathan of TUICO, the UNI Global Union affiliate in Tanzania, were also present for the signing.



Earlier this year, UNI Post & Logistics signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Asia Pacific Postal Union after signing originally in 2008 a new MOU with the global postal organisation the Universal Postal Union.
