Members from Unite GPM Sector were out in force last weekend marching to demand alternatives to the UK government’s plan to make massive spending cuts.



A large contingent of printing, paper and packaging members travelled from all over the UK to participate in what was a massive show of opposition to the Government’s proposed cuts.



Many workers and their families travelled many hours in buses and trains to be a part of the largest demonstration in London for many years.



UNI affiliates and UNI staff joined with hundreds of thousands of other concerned people and marched from Embankment to Hyde Park where there were speakers from all sections of the community pledging their support for the continuing opposition to the massive cuts being proposed.
