YellowCube is the product of Swiss Post's strategic plan to focus on reaping the benefits of  growing online shopping.

It is a full service enabling retailers to outsource the order processing, storage, packing and handling, shipping, payments as well as returns of customers. These steps are all processed in a single new storage and logistics facility right next to Swiss Post's parcel center which enables very fast handling of orders to and back from customers. With growing e-commerce retailers are faced with growing complexity which they can now outsource to the post.

Deliveries are available in the evening and on Saturdays as well as at a growing number of parcel terminals while parcels may be collected from home too. Swiss Post expect online commerce to grow between 5 and 10% a year and has invested two years in the development of YellowCube.
