Workers at Smurfit Kappa’s Polish plants have been overwhelmed with messages of support from packaging workers from all over the world.

In the last few days alone messages have been received, not just from other Smurfit Kappa workers but also from Graphical unions from Germany, UK, Slovenia, Latvia, Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium,  Venezuela and Colombia.

Danuta Klementowska the ZZP Equality and EWC representative said “ I would like to thank all are colleagues for their messages of support. The Polish management have tried to silence us but they cannot silence the global trade union movement.”
