Season’s Greetings!

Stepping out of the old definition of what trade union does, UNITES India (the union for IT sector in India) celebrated Christmas at the Aganvadi school in Vasanthnagar in December 2009 a tradition that the UNITES members have been celebrating with the Economically Weaker Section Workers Children for the last 5 years. The gifts are contributions by the union members of UNITES India. This activity has brought immense pleasure to the trade unionists by the simple joy and gesture for the children to have their very own X’mas gifts just like other children around the world.

In the near future, UNITES will be expanding their social movement unionism activities to more Aganwadis.
