Prosegur, the giant Spanish Security Company, has won a contract worth 2 million Euros - just after announcing dismissals across the whole of Spain. The new contract, with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is for surveillance services. The contract deal was announced only two days after the dismissals wre announced due to cuts and loss of contracts. Despite this announcement the company has claimed it will be proceeding with the dismissals.

Prosegur is the subject of complainst to the OECD and ILO for fundamentally breaching workers rights across South America including Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
