Last week marked the 4th anniversary of the massive dismissal of 327 Prosegur workers in Paraguay. The SITEPROPASA members were on a lawful strike for a week over wages and safety demands. They were fired the day that they returned to work on the request of the Ministry of labour and the company to resume negotiations in good faith. The company's conduct in negotiations and the dismissals are the subject of ongoing ILO and OECD complaints.

We are encouraging all our affiliates to support our colleagues in Paraguay by denouncing this violation of human rights.
