Prosegur workers in Medellin, Colombia, held a protest on April 4 outside the company's headquarters to demand that their labour and union rights be respected, as well as to denounce the systematic violation of human rights by the Spanish multinational.

Workers also emphasized their poor working conditions that violate health and safety standards, such as the use of obsolete armoured vehicles with only two crew members.

A complaint has been filed against Prosegur with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), for human rights violations in Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Brazil; but in spite of this, the deplorable working conditions and the violation of the right to freedom of association continue.
