Portuguese speaking unions decided to create forum to discuss problems

The forum aims to promote the training of union leaders, to increase the exchange of experience and to optimize the existing synergies. The first step will be to build a database, with information about Collective Bargaining, union densities and mechanisms used to organize workers in these countries, as well as the creation of a common newsletter to be delivery to the affiliates.



The forum also decided to hold two training session to prepare new leaders capable of guiding and preparing young trade unionists. Portugal and Brazil are responsible to organize the session and it will take place in Luanda, Angola and Maputo, Mozambique during the next two year.
