After 7 days of general strike in the Portuguese Postal company, CTT Correios, since the beginning of the year and because they do not yet have answers from the Ministries of Labour and Communications of Portugal, 15 leaders of

SNTCT, including the General Secretary, are on hunger strike. The hunger strike has been taking place since 10:00AM on the 7th of October in front of the CTT Administration/Human Resources in one of the main squares of Lisbon.



One of the hunger strikers, due to the effects of the strike has been hospitalized last night and is now recovering at home.
