Picketing the Headquarters of Société Générale Romania
IMPACT Trade Union of the employees of BRD-Groupe Société Générale has picketed the Headquarters of the Bank situated in BUCHAREST, 1-7 Ion Mihalache blvd, on 9th and 10th of November 2015 between 11:00 and 13:00 o’clock. This protest is caused by the failure of negotiations for the Collective Labour Agreement.
After the conciliation on 26th of October 2015, made according to the procedure provided by the Law 62/2011 of the social dialogue, remained unresolved the following claims of the employees:
Information and consultation of the employees related to the projects of restructuring/reorganization/optimisation with impact upon the working places, according the letter and spirit of Law 467/2006;
Increasing the basic salaries with 100 lei gross for all the employees with minimum 3 years of seniority in BRD at 30.06.2015 (representing the share of inflation that was not provided in the period of time 2009-2014);
Keeping the participation reward of the employees to the profit (the Employer proposed the exclusion of this right in exchange to the supplementing the reward on the Day of the Bank, supplementing conditioned by reaching the unfeasible target from our point of view, respectively keeping the number of active customers)
Granting a reward of 700 lei net for the outfit purchase according to the requirements of the Bank (business outfit that we assimilate to the working outfit provided by the Law 319/2006)
Reintroduction in the Collective Labour Agreement of a programme of early retirement;
Protection of the leaders with another 1 year after the termination of the mandate (this right existed until now in the Collective Labour Agreement, but the Employer doesn’t want its perpetuation).
IMPACT Trade Union warns that if after picketing the BRD-Groupe Société Générale Headquarters, Employer has the same inflexible attitude towards the claims of the employees too, will start the strike according to the legal provisions.
We will pay attention in the following to the qualities of the services offered to the customers, without to affect their interests under the conditions that the Employer provides decent treatment to the employees.
