“ Postkom has long worked politically to stop the EU's third postal directive. Now we expect that the national congress of the Labour Party says a resounding 'no' to the postal directive," said union leader Odd Christian Øverland.



“This is an important step to get the government to use the reservation clause in the EEA agreement and to postpone EU's third postal directive for good, "said Overland.



“We already had a petition that urges the government to use the reservation clause against the directive, but this time we aim at the national congress of the Labour Party, "said Overland.



The National Convention of the Labour Party will take place 7 - 10 April and Postkom needs as many signatures as possible by 4 April.
