The union at IBM Chile signed a collective agreement with the company. Although it has not been possible to include all the requests made by the union in the agreement, some major improvements such as an automatic yearly wage adjustment has been gained. The vast majority of people who attended the assembly accepted the offer, which means that no strike took place.
