Standard Chartered First Bank Korea employees are on strike since 27 June 2011 protesting against the introduction of an unilateral performance linked pay system in the bank. Motion was unanimously adopted with the support of 94 UNI affiliates from 20 countries in Asia & Pacific region. Resolution urge the Management to respond positively and promptly to avert the escalation of the disputes, further straining the relations between the Management and trade union, demoralizing the employees and injuring the reputation of the bank.
