On 3rd February 2015, the executive board of Chunghwa Post Workers Union (CPWU) Taiwan unanimously approved Sis. Lo Hui-Ju as the new General Secretary succeeding Bro. Lan Ming-Han who retired last January. She is the second female General Secretary in the 85 years of CPWU history.

Not only being cpmpetent, eloquent and familiar with the related postal and trade union laws, she also focuses on women and youth workers rights and at the same time helps them to broaden their international vision. When CPWU hosted the 3rd UNI Apro East Asia Trade Union Forum in Taipei in September 2014, she encouraged CPWU Youth Committee to help make the event successful and it was an exposure for them to Global Union movement.

She has also contributed a lot to promoting gender equality in Asia and Pacific as a committed member of UNI Apro Women's Committee.
