In the Netherlands a new bank called “De Financiële Coöperatie” has been launched on the 1st of August 2013. It is a citizen’s initiative inspired by the launch of the Beligian NewB. The cooperative bank stands against the bonus culture and wants a transparent organisation.  They are now in the phase of organizing members who can join with a participation of 20 € per membership.
