UNI Post & Logistics affiliate, FNPT UMT says that Dh 4.33 million was awarded to 66 postal managers in Morocco without any objective justification. The bonuses these postal managers received were beyond all expectations. On average 65 606 dh per person or a salary equal to that paid to 28 minimum wage earners. This has provoked the ire of all the postmen in Post Morocco where the union says chaos is the normal order of business. They say how can managers who have created sucjh a chaos be rewarded with bonuses like this? The bonuses were made without criteria such as productivity or performance being taken into account. Postal workers have been incensed by this injustice which led FNPT UMT to organise a sit-in outside the headquarters of Morocco Post in Rabat .



This sit-in protest was a resounding success with participation of all employees of the Region Rabat Salé who took the opportunity to condemn and denounce the unjustified decision of the Executive Post Morocco.



In addition, the Executive Bureau of the FNPT UMT Morocco have decided to undertake a national protest strike of 24 hours at the office of Morocco Post on Friday 16 July accompanied by a sit-in outside the main station in Rabat to protest against the flight of public money.
