Further to the European Parliament's decision to internalise its security services, UNI Europa "Property Services" and its affiliated organisations in Belgium, France and Luxembourg ask the European Parliament:



· to give priority to security guards on site due to their experience, professionalism and knowledge of the workplace,

· to guarantee a contract of indefinite duration upon recruitment while maintaining their social acquis (seniority, working conditions etc.),

· to not impose criteria that are unreachable for most security officers on site.



We urge the European Parliament to listen to the concerns of workers and their representative organisations, and to meet their demands and find a socially acceptable solution.
