On June 24, STRM visited the US embassy in Mexico City to deliver a letter in support of the Employee Free Choice Act.

Jorge Castillo Magaña - Deputy Secretary General, STRM, Enrique Fabela Rocha - Secretary of External Affairs and Alliances, STRM and Rafael Marino Roche - Head of the Political Action Department, STRM met with the embassy's Labor Counselor, Kevin Richardson.

STRM joins the ranks of many other UNI affiliates from all corners of the globe supporting this proposed legislation which would protect the fundamental human rights of US workers to join trade unions and to bargain collectively for wages and working conditions.
