On Wednesday 10^th and Thurday 11^th of February 6 organisations (BBTK, LBC, ABVV, ACV, Wereldsolidariteit, FOS) of the Flemish Clean Clothes Campaign organize a consumer action in front of Aldi and Lidl shops. The message of this action is 'are Aldi and Lidl trying to hide something?



There are 4 general demands: freedom of assocation, living wages, transparency, fair buying practices.



Colourful 'clothes' have been made to cover cars at the car park to draw consumers attention. Consumers get a leaflet and a gadget (a coin to put in their shopping trolley). The workers of Aldi and Lidl were be informed by the unions. Also the management got an announcement of the action in order to give them time to prepare their response.
